Sharmishtha Mukherjee

Sharmistha Mukherjee is an Indian politician, classical dancer, and author. She was born to the 13th President of India, Late Pranab Mukherjee, and Suvra Mukherjee. Inheriting the qualities to serve the public, Sharmistha has made her mark in both the fields of art and public life. A trained Kathak dancer, she glorified the prosperous Indian heritage before the world with her grace. She entered politics and associated herself with the Indian National Congress, and she has served as the Spokesperson of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, openly holding discussions on governance, gender equality, and democracy.
