Ritu Sharma Nanan Pandey

Her remarkable contributions to the promotion of the Hindi language, diasporic literature, and social service have earned her numerous honors, including the Hindi Bhushan, Amrita Pritam Samman, Sahitya Ratna, and Pravasi Sahityakar Samman. For over two decades, Dr. Ritu Nannan Pandey has kept the flame of Hindi glowing on Dutch soil — where words for her are both a form of service and a spiritual pursuit. Dr. Ritu Nannan Pandey is born in New Delhi, a daughter of India, daughter-in-law of Suriname and now a proud resident of the Netherlands is a woman whose heart beats for words, culture, and people. With a Ph.D. in Journalism, she began her journey with Delhi Doordarshan, All India Radio, and the University of Delhi, where her love for communication found its true expression. Today, she continues her cultural mission across continents as a member of the Advisory Committee at the Town Hall of Assen (Netherlands) and as the host of Abhivyakti in Hindi, a unique program she conducts in collaboration with the World Hindi Secretariat, Mauritius, to celebrate the power and beauty of the Hindi language.

. ऋतु ननंन पाँडे : शब्दों की साधिका नई दिल्ली में जन्मी डॉ. ऋतु ननंन पाँडे भारत की बेटी, सूरीनाम की बहू और नीदरलैंड की निवासी हैं — शब्द, संस्कृति और संवेदना की सच्ची साधिका। पत्रकारिता में पी.एच.डी. प्राप्त कर वे दिल्ली दूरदर्शन, आकाशवाणी और दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय से जुड़ी रहीं। वर्तमान में वे नीदरलैंड के Town Hall Assen की परामर्श समिति में सदस्य हैं और विश्व हिन्दी सचिवालय मॉरीशस के सहयोग से “हिन्दी में अभिव्यक्ति” कार्यक्रम संचालित करती हैं। उनकी प्रमुख कृतियाँ — “बंद रास्तों के बीच”, “पुस्तक की आत्महत्या”, “जानवरों का जानी दुश्मन” तथा “नीदरलैंड की लोककथाएँ” — हिन्दी और डच साहित्य के बीच सांस्कृतिक सेतु हैं। वे “मैत्री”, “Meiden Club en Mama Ochtend” जैसी संस्थाओं के माध्यम से महिलाओं और बालिकाओं के उत्थान में भी सक्रिय हैं। हिन्दी भाषा, प्रवासी साहित्य और समाजसेवा के क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान को “हिन्दी भूषण”, “अमृता प्रीतम सम्मान”, “साहित्य रत्न” और “प्रवासी साहित्यकार सम्मान” जैसे अनेक अलंकरणों से सम्मानित किया गया है। दो दशकों से वे नीदरलैंड की भूमि पर हिन्दी की दीपशिखा जलाए रखे हुए हैं — जहाँ शब्द उनके लिए सेवा भी हैं और साधना भी।
